Aravind Namasivayam received his PhD in Speech-Language Pathology with specialized certification in Neuroscience in 2008 from the University of Toronto. He has published several peer-reviewed scientific articles, refereed proceedings, public education materials, and a book chapter and has received several prestigious awards at the national and international level from various organizations, such as the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (USA), the National Committee on Biomechanics (India), the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (Canada) and the Stuttering foundation of America (USA). Dr. Namasivayam’s current clinical and research interests include motor speech disorders, stuttering, sensory-motor integration, audio-visual speech perception, and motor skill learning.
