Philip Lieberman is a linguist who specializes in the origins and evolution of language and speech. He received his BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and his PhD in Linguistics from MIT. Dr. Lieberman has written over 140 papers, 50 book chapters and 10 books and monographs, covering the fields of linguistics, cognitive science, and anthropology.
