Douglas Cheyne is a Senior Scientist in the Program for Neuroscience and Mental Health at the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children and Associate Professor of Medical Imaging at University of Toronto with cross-appointments in the Institutes of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering and Medical Sciences. His research focuses on the development of advanced analysis methods for MEG with an emphasis on the use of MEG imaging techniques to study human motor control. Dr. Cheyne also works with members of the departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Hospital for Sick Children on the application of these techniques in the treatment of childhood epilepsy and surgical planning.
